MX Trio has very good fragmentation rate, it's done in the NPU (there
is per-flow limit which is no where near wirerate). But for example
ASR9k will fragment on LC CPU, so you really don't want to fragment on
ASR9k.
It seems likely that in few years time we won't see any NPU which can
fragment, since if the market accepts boxes which fragment on CPU,
there is little incentive to implement the complexity in NPU.
