[c-nsp] Private IP in point to point link on internet

not going into hassle so i decided to use /31 subnet with public IP
address. can i assigned following IPs

71.xx.xx.xx.254/31 <------p2p-------> 71.xx.xx.xx.255/31

Its working but question is there won't be any issue right? just
asking to make sure it's safe
