Hi Gert,

I think the approach that vendors are heading towards is to have multiple VMs.
So VM hosting one XR version and another VM hosting another XR version and then you just switch from one to other
And since the nPower X1e allows for two micro codes to be loaded in parallel the upgrade process is with no packet/topology loss
 -so far this is available only on NCS6K since XR5.0 but the plans are to introduce this to ASR9k and other platforms as well.
