We lab tested the ASR920 as a PPPoE server and worked fine for us
(yeah OK, lab isn't the same as prod but the commands are there and it
works (that was tested on 3.16.4S). I just don't think it is
officially supported. PPPoE IA is officially supported though. When
one configures an EFP one can set "encapsulation untagged etype ipv4 ,
ipv6 , pppoe-discovery , pppoe-session , pppoe-all". Again we tested
this and it worked OK in the lab. All the commands for MLPPP are there
too but sadly this didn't work and its not support (which is fair
enough, its a metro Ethernet device not a BRAS).
