Does the 10GBASE-LR optic support 1000BASE-LX? Many do not, some might.

Separately, the data sheet[1] states that the 1002-X doesn't have any
10G ports onboard, and the 1001-X's onboard 10G ports do not support 1G.

If you're using a specific 10G SPA, then now would be the time to look
up its capabilities in the relevant data sheet. :)
