
<html><body>Hi all,<br><br>I am seeing something that has me kind of confused with a batch of 1000BASE-LX Gbics. If I install them into a 3550, they show up as an LX module. If I install them into a 6509, they show up as an LH module. This causes a problem when one end is an LX and the other end is an LH as it blew the laser on the LX side.<br><br>Has anyone else seen this and is there a way to set them to LX mode on the 6509 or do I have to use an attenuator on the fiber?<br><br>Thanks,<br><br>Troy <br></body></html>
