MessageHere is a quick example:

transforming calling party number for CCM internal calls

1001 is the DN that you want to prevent anyone from seeing
1000 is what you will make 1001 show up as on CLID
make sure all DN's are in a partition other than "NONE"
create a new partition noclid
create a new css noclid that incluces partition noclid
create a translation pattern XXXX in partition noclid with
css unrestricted and Calling Party Transform Mask 1000
The 4 X's are for 4 digit extensions. Adjust appropriately.
change the phone with x1001 to use css noclid
change the line 1001 to be in partition noclid and use css noclid
check the traces to make sure you match the translation pattern
and then the call is processed using the CLID and css from
the translation pattern

Subject: [cisco-voip] CISCO VOIP -Display masking

We have are implementing a full campus wide implementation of CCM 3.3.2
with unity.
We would like to turn off or mask the "display internal caller id" on some
phones.
Has any one been able to find a work around?

  Thanks
