Hi Candace,
More route patterns = more memory, so make sure you have plenty.
Otherwise, route patterns do add to CM startup time. After you add route
patterns for a while, you may suddenly find CM fails to start after a reboot
or restart. If you get into that case, go into /ccmadmin under service
parameters and set the "initialization timers", especially route plan and
digit analysis, to maximum values.
