Scott,

the last update I see from microsoft related to the OS is ms04-025 and 
this is in the OS patch doc on cco:

checking microsoft's security site, I don't see any win2k announcements 
for August:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/default.mspx

is there an update or alert that specifically concerns you?
