[cisco-voip] Inbound Caller ID on Analog DIDs

I'm using a Cisco 1700 Router with 4 x FXO and 4 x FXS port on it. I
have seen various configs in the Cisco docs that inbound caller ID on
the DID ports is possible, but I've heard from various other sources
that this is not possible due to how DIDs work over Analog vs. normap
POTS lines. I'm a little confused because as everyone knows POTS lines
can have inbound caller ID, so I am wondering if an inbound DID analog
line can support this as well. If so and I can get my LEC to enable it
am I correct to assume that the 1700 will be able to present this to the
call manager / phones for presentation?
