[cisco-voip] 7970 rebooting..

I spoke to a Cisco TAC engineer lately and they said both their 5.x and 6.x phone loads are full of bugs. I had a previous problem of my 7970s rebooting randomly or when transferring a call. The first TAC engineer had me upgrade my CM to Engineering Special 44. That seemed to have solved my problem, but now most of our 7970s are locking up. We're also having a bunch of screen issues where the screen would not refresh if you answered a call.

The latest TAC engineer I spoke to said to try either 5.x or 6.x phone loads and load the one that causes the least amount of problems per phone. He said to just wait for the 7.x phone load as it should have solved 'most' of the bugs.

Hey everyone.

When I browse to the phone's IP using a web browser, instead of getting the settings and information page, the phone reboots. Anyone ever see this happen before?

Thanks!
