I guess the first thing would be to confirm if it is your shared line config that is causing a problem. Perhaps reconfiguring the phones so the line appears only on one phone and then trying it out. If that doesn't work, perhaps a cluster restart might be in order (believe me, I hate it too, but it's helped us in so many instances). If that still doesn't work, than it _might_ be the CSS of the MWI light. If it does work with one phone but not on shared lines, it might be something to do with having shared lines on the primary line of more than one phone. We've been told that that might screw things up.
Let us know how it goes.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Shared line and message waiting lamp OR extensionmobility
Hello all,
I work for a school district where we now have 7940 phones in all the schools. I have several teachers that work half days at two different schools. I thought to keep things simple I'd just share their extension between two phones, one at each school. It works, although now the message waiting lamp never comes on either phone when a new voicemail has been recorded. Is there any way to get this to function with CCM 3.2 and Unity 3.1?
I'm aware that I could set up extension mobility (although it appears I don't have the login/logout web pages available for the service) but I was hoping to make it REALLY simple for the teachers and forgo the login/logout. (I don't know why they have such an aversion to technology.)
While I'm on extension mobility does anyone know how I can get the webpages set up on the server so that the login/logout services have a valid URL? Currently the system is set for http://publisher/login or http://publisher/logout but I always get a "Host not found" error on the phone and going to the URL from a web browser gives me a 404 error. It was working at one time, but I have no idea what's happened to the web server. There are no login and logout folders on my webserver. (I checked the subscriber too, and it looks the same.)
