This is going to sound stupid, but have you tried restarting the
CiscoTFTP server??

Subject: [cisco-voip] Disappearing ring styles

Running CCM 3.3(3), the original menu of about 30 ring types has
disappeared, replaced with only 2 or 3 types (varying) on some phones,
none (only the default) on others. I can't say when this happened, but
it must have been recent, so I'm reasonably certain it wasn't caused by
any maintenance activity on the CallManagers. Possibly related to
widespread power failures during Hurricane Charley. The ringlist.xml
file and the associated .raw files appear to be OK in the TFTPPath
directory on both CallManagers. Rebooting the phone has no effect.
This does not appear to be the bug described in CSCdw93219; in any
event, the associated fix procedure described in
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_t
ech_note09186a00800b3ecd.shtml
has no effect.

Firmware on my 7940G (which shows only the previously-selected default
type)
is:

App Load: P00305000400
Boot load: PC03C300
Version: 5.0(4.0)

Any ideas?
