Well, the yellow stain on my face is egg. I posted earlier:
>>Running CCM 3.3(3), the original menu of about 30 [sic - it's 25] ring
types has disappeared, replaced with only 2 or 3 types (varying) on some
phones, none (only the default) on others. I can't say when this happened,
but it must have been recent, so I'm reasonably certain it wasn't caused by
any maintenance activity on the CallManagers.<<
It turns out that it happened August 3, 2003, when I installed CM 3.3(3) --
I think. Anyway, somewhere along the line Cisco provided customizable ring
types, and changed the IP Phone display to set them. When a couple of users
called me a few days ago to complain that the Ring Type list was gone, I
looked at my phone, and sure enough, the list was gone. I hadn't looked at
this setting since a few days after installing CM3, so I figured something
was broke. Thanks to Wes for lots of debugging tips, and my apologies to
the list for the false alarm.
