[cisco-voip] Backup

That's what I do.

As long as it is the hardware RAID card doing the mirror, then it's just
pop a drive out, pop a drive in and let the mirror rebuild.

I try to grab a backup once a month, I keep the mirror drive of the Pub
offsite..

Subject: [cisco-voip] Backup

I have my CM Pub and Unity running on 7835's running mirrored arrays. I
want a backup just in case something was hosed. Beside BARS I would
like to have a HD backup. Can I buy a spare HD and take out one of the
HD out and replace it with the new one and keep it for safe keeping? Do
I do this while the server is running or do I shut down and bring it up
with the new HD in it? I know that the SUB would need to be rebuilt and
all but it would give me the biggest chunk, if all when down the tube.

TIA

Scott
