I just went down that road too. It's built into CM 3.3.4. Just check out Http://server/CCMuser/directory.asp so long as you have it enabled in services.

It works with CTI and device association; it's looking at devices and not at DNs. So it should work for you.
I assume that when you will select the device, and search on DN, you might see two devices if the extension exists in partition A and partition B - so you have to carefully select the right device.
