Since you've got a PRI, you need to see about having your provider accept
RDNIS from your site. You then need to configure CallManager Gateway with
this checkbox checked "Redirecting Number IE". Unity uses the Redirecting
Number to determine which mailbox to dump the call to. Just contact your
carrier and see if if they both support RDNIS. If so your in luck, just
send RNA'd calls to the head number that goes right into Unity Main
greeting, Unity will see RDNIS in PRI information and send caller into
that extension mailbox....otherwise if you cannot do that, then there was
an enhancement for later IOS code, CSCdy20913, that can allow the extra
dtmf tones to go through:
Enhanced CLI
============
Mode:
dial-peer voice
Enhanced CLI Syntax:
forward-digits extra [inband]
where inband is the new option. It only works
for ISDN interface.
Specification:
Add an option "inband" to CLI "forward-digits extra"
so that ISDN interface can also forward extra digits inband using DTMF done.
This is used by SRST/CME vm integration.
Examples:
=========
Router-2015(config)#dial-peer voice 100 pots
Router-2015(config-dial-peer)#forward-digits ?
<0-32> number of right-justified dialed digits to be forwarded
all forward all destination digits
extra extra dialed digits to be forwarded
Router-2015(config-dial-peer)#forward-digits extra
inband digits to be forwarded inband
<cr>
Router-2015(config-dial-peer)#forward-digits extra inband ?
<cr>
Router-2015(config-dial-peer)#forward-digits extra inband
Router-2015(config-dial-peer)#end
