[cisco-voip] CCM 4.0 - DL320-G2 - RAID-1 Support ?

Hi All,

My supplier recently installed a CCM 4.0 on an HP Proliant DL320-G2 - 1152
MB.
Altough the server was shipped with 2 disks and the built-in Ultra ATA 100
IDE RAID controller, it seems no RAID-1 has been configured on the box.

Part of this new setup included a Voice Mail server. This has been installed
on the same server type. I took care of the OS installation part and this
one is supporting RAID-1 ... Altough I first missed this during my first
install.

I then asked my supplier who told me no RAID-1 support would be possible
under my CCM ;-( Is this 100% sure ? If RAID-1 could be supported is there a
way to get this fixed without reinstallation ?

I read the previous posts and found some interesting things in the
"CallManager Backup using Windows 2000 Backup" thread

We bought an extra drive and just break the mirror on a regular basis (or
before updates). Pretty ghetto, but quite effective...
"

Jeff,

Should you read this, could you tell me if you are doing this on a DL320-G2
?

Regards,

Olivier
