Has anyone gotten Intercom.asp working?

I have made the service and subscribed a 7940 phone to the service and the service comes up all nice and happy, but nothing comes out the other end (far IP address of other 7940).  Any direction would be great.  Also, the way it is sent up is that phoneIP is required so you have to make a service for each phone you want to intercom with.  Do I just need to make it not a requirement if I want to type it in at the service via the phone?
