[cisco-voip] ATA186-I1 vs. -I2

Hello list,
 
I have a problem with an ATA186 that does not make a phone ring (although
the caller hears ringback tone OK).
 
Config is exactly like it is on working ATAs; but I have noticed that it's a
ATA186-I1 - while all our others are ATA186-I2.
 
CCO says it has to do something with impedance.
 
What do you guys think? Could this be the reason why the telephone does not
ring?
 
Note: the phone is an "european" one (in case that matters).
