[cisco-voip] cisco ios gateway to do transcoding between g711 & g729

i am looking for a solution to a codec problem.  we have a switch (metaswitch 
vp3510) that can do g729 but our line equipment (occam) can only do g711.  
now, the metaswitch does g711 as well, but i would like to be able to use the 
g729 codec in a few instances.  what i was wondering was if i could use a 
cisco ios gateway (vg200, 2600xm, etc) to handle the transcoding.  i realize 
scalabiltiy would be an issue but im needing less that 100 lines (which would 
be about 30 calls max at a time)
