Don't you have to reset the phone to make the change take effect?

Subject: [cisco-voip] Clock setting

I need to change the time that is displayed on my phones.  I assumed they received this from the Call Manager as they were both 5 minutes fast.  I changed the time on the CCM without a change on the phone.  What am I missing here?
