[cisco-voip] CMM upgrade gone wrong

If you cannot session into it, there is the possibility that it's stuck at a ROMMON prompt. If I remember correctly, there is a "console" port buried on that board, so if you take out the blade above it, or remove an empty front panel section, you can use a regular console cable on it. Once there, you should be able to restore the boot sequence. You might also try a "switch console", but I don't remember if that's available on Native IOS switches.

Subject: [cisco-voip] CMM upgrade gone wrong

Good Morning everyone-

I upgraded my CMM Blade in our Cat 6509 running dual sup720's/msfc3
running native IOS 12.2.18sxd.

When I upgraded to wscmm-i6s-mz.123-8.XY.bin it comes up with a red
light and I can not session into it. Any Ideas? I've tried to open two
cases on TAC and Keep getting error messages opening the case so now I'm
on hold for the past 10 minute waiting for some to open a case for me.

Any ideas?

TIA

Scott
