Ok. Thanks for the info and bug id.
This is 3.x and the phones are plugged into same 3550
switch as Call Manager acting as TFTP server and in
same VLAN. I think the problem is the customer may
have cross-patched the data and voice VLAN perhaps
since sometimes we get a data VLAN IP and sometimes we
get voice VLAN IP, even with switchport hard coded in
voice vlan for the access mode (access vlan and voice
vlan the same). Were having them do a sniffer trace
and trying to get access to their DHCP server and the
router to figure out whats going on.
