I have not had any issues with the 7936's; we have maybe a dozen or so. They
are much better than the 7935's were.
As for an alternative, you could use one of the traditional Polycom
conference room pucks, connect it to an ATA or an FXS port on a router.

Anyone have any advice for speaker phones? Something suitable for a
conference call? The higher-ups are less than pleased with the sound
quality of the 7936 (we have the microphones as well). It needs to
work with a CM3.3 system.
