The workaround for that bug is to update the MLAParameter table in the 
SQL database to set the correct value for the MLAUserbase.

The WWW incorrect function thing you are seeing when you an iisreset?  
 From what I understand that is a bit normal and you just have to start 
WWW from services.msc after doing an iisreset.

I just tried to setup MLA with AD.

I'm still able to get into CCMADMIN with the ccmadministrator account
but when I restarted the web service I got a "Error Number: -1
Description: Operations error"  and a Incorrect function error on the
www service trying to start it.  Any ideas?

I'll be opening a TAC case in the morning.
