Idon't see why this couldn't be done. AC can get the information, done know why you couldn't. if you make an app, I would like to try it. :-)

Subject: [cisco-voip] Line status ?
We were considering developing in-house a program (not even sure if it
is possible to be honest) that would simply show the line status of
specified extensions.
We have a few users who would really like to be able to see the line
status of certain extensions. We did not want to have to roll out
Attendant Console for various reasons to all these users. We would
like to give them the ability to run an application in which they
could enter extensions they would like to monitor, and the app could
then poll the status of each line every 10 seconds or something.
Maybe this could be defined as well via a config file or something.
Just want something quick and easy, not bloated, just a small app.
Anyone know if something exists that could be purchased, or if not
does anyone know if it is even possible to program an app that could
do this?
