[cisco-voip] Requested Channel Not Available

We are receiving multiple requested channel not available when we receive
a fax.

We are using a dialogic pri card with a 4 port fax card daisy chained to
it. It appears that the dialogic card is handing the fax call off to the
fax card, but is not releasing the channel quick enough causing the next
call to get a busy signal.

We are not using Unity, but I was hoping someone might have more
experience with the using the dialogic cards, could give us some help.

The vm vendor is aware of the issue but doesn't have a work around yet.  

Their recommendation is to configure Call Manager to use a different
selection algorithm for selecting which channel to use.  But the only
choices are bottom / up or top / down which doesn't help.
