Aaron,

An ERL plan must have at least a 6db difference between the Tx and Rx sides
of the ECAN to converge. Without this difference between the two, the ECAN
will never even engage ....

And to answer your question (and it's not the preferred answer I'd like to
give) but yes, an ECAN can take up to 3 seconds to fully converge, though a
lot of times it is much quicker than that ...

What version of code on what box are you running?
Thought of running the VIC2 with the Extended 128ms ECAN daughter card?
