Yes and Yes.
You can upgrade from 3.1 to 3.5. Very easy. Took me ~ an hour.
You do need to PUT for the CD's. there is NO download. What a pain. I
hate being in your shoes. Because it takes a couple weeks any time I
talk to cisco.
Maybe you could open a TAC case and they could overnight it if you're
down.
Lesson learned. Always look at all your IPT before upgrades. Most
everything is dependent in some way weather a simple TSP upgrade or a
major release.
Read those docs.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Inconsistent CCM version and CRS
Hi all,
i have ordered ccm 4.0(2)a and the whole package of the CDs came to my
office. I installed the CCM with no problem and the Extended Services CD
that was in the package (i wanted to use the 4 port of IVR for the Auto
Attendant). The engine got installed easylly but i could not make it
work.
When i looked in the compatibility matrix of ccm, i saw that CRS 3.5.2
is needed with CCM 4.0(2)a!!
The whole issue with the CRS engine is getting annoying since it is not
the first time that this is happening.
Is it possible to download it and make it work from tha CCO site or i
need to order the CDs? Can i upgrade CRS 3.1(1) to 3.5(2) or i have to
unistall it and reinstall the new one?
Thanks
Anthony Kouloglou
