Steve,
Would you mind pointing me out to the documentation you used for this
setup? Specifically the Gatekeeper and MCU setup. We are not doing
this yet, but I can see it on the roadmap.

Avidan,
I am planning a slightly larger setup using the 3544 chassis with
the 2PRI gateway blade. I have 12 videoconferencing systems spread out
over our WAN. 90 percent of them are Polycom VSX7000 models. I have
heard the Tandbergs will integrate pretty seemlessly with CallManager,
but I do not have any experience using them. I have setup a gatekeeper
which allows the H.323 Video endpoints (Polycom stuff) to call Skinny
endpoints (Cisco VTA, 7985...etc). It's a pretty slick setup and not
too complicated to set-up, as long as you have control over the CCM and
gatekeepers. The most difficult part might be coordinating with other
groups if that is required.
We are also looking at the MCU blade for the 3540 chassis.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Video conf. equipment for IP/VC
I am planning to setup a 3511 IP/VC to handle 4 branch offices
and their video conference needs. I currently have a Polycom Viewstation
EX, but with the upcoming IP/VC installation, I didnt know if buying 3
more of those was the right idea. What is everyone using out there for
video conferencing with their IP/VC? Tandbergs? Polycoms? Does getting
MeetingPlace really help in small conferences?
thanks for the advice.
