The utility is not publicly available AFAIK. The correct way to
"decrypt" these passwords is to use the passwordutils utility to
encrypt your known passwords and check against what is in your registry.

I was on the phone yesterday with TAC troubleshooting an issue with
my IPMAUser login/password. We went into the registry on my
CallManager, and I read him the encrypted password key, and he said
he used a “password decrypter”, and read back the password in plain
text. He said the utility was publicly accessible. What and where can
I get this?

Also, how do I set up a line on CallManager so that 7960 users can
see “line status” of another user, without being able to answer the
line or call from it?

This is basically so co-workers can see if their neighbor is on the
phone, since they are too lazy to get up and check….

Thanks,

Avidan
