What phone load were you using? We had the same problems with 7.1.1.
We backed up to P00306000500 (I can't remember but I think it's like 6.5
or something). Everything seems to be working.

Subject: [cisco-voip] VoIP questions
Well, we had been having problems with 7912, 7940 and 7960's rebooting
on a regular basis. We talked to Cisco TAC and spent 3 1/2 hours on the
phone with the tech. We went over switch configuration, call manager
configuration, packet captures and phone loads with him. He said
everything was fine regarding the switch configuration and call manager,
there were some items in the packet captures that he was concerned
about. He also had us switch the phone loads. It seems to have stopped
the rebooting, but we are having phone calls get dropped in the middle
of a call at times now.
We have talked to the vendor that installed it and they want to send a
tech here for a couple days to go over the switches, even though the
Cisco tech said they were configured correctly. They claim everyone has
been looking at Layer 2 and not Layer 3. I am not sure what they would
be looking for. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
