[cisco-voip] 7940/7960 Versions 7.1(2) posted on CCO

I asked cisco TAC if it is true that I only work with SR1.  Here is
their response.

 

Hi James,

 

Ernesto with Cisco TAC. I doublechecked, and eventhough the readme file
says:

"This firmware version is supported on Cisco CallManager Release 4.1(2),
Service Release 1 and higher, and Cisco CallManager Releases 4.0(1),
3.3, 3.2, and 3.1."

 

It's also supported in 4.1(2). We just need to modify the readme file.

Hmmm, that's almost a good thing if you ask me. ;)

 

Also - this version will only work with 4.1(2) sr1 - but that has not
been released yet. 

 

Anyone have any insight to when sr1 will be released?

	FYI due to several different bugs and/or bug fixes with 7.1(2)
doing a  
	**#** will no longer reset the phone if it is entered as dialed
digits.  
	  It will work if you go to services or settings first though.
