[cisco-voip] AAR

I'm thinking I'm going to go through the work of actually doing toll
bypass. This means about 150 route patterns.

>From what I'm reading I can use AAR to route around the toll bypass if
bandwidth is not there between locations, but does AAR work if the WAN
link goes down completely? And does it work if the PSTN connection on a
gateway fails?

I had a issue last month where construction took out my 3 PRI's at the
central site so I just routed the 9.@ to my remote site and had everyone
dial 1 to get local calls. With my VGW being MGCP will it see the PRI's
are down and reroute?

TIA

Scott
