Hi,

I have a client trying to get IP Communicator to work
well from a overseas office in asia back to west coast
of US. The pipe between the two locations is 512k (256
CIR) and has a 220ms latency.

The users in Asian office are using IP Communicator to
talk to people in US. The call Manager is located in
US office. The users using IP Communicator can hear
the other people fine, but the US users hear the first
5 seconds or so of the call fine but after that their
voice becomes very unrecognizable to the person on US
side.

Does anyone have any suggestions to improve this? They
have tried the low bandwidth setting. They are asking
why skype is better now or if softphone would acheive
better results.
