How is the ATA configured, SCCP or H323? Is the ATA setup for G711 and VAD
disabled? What speed is the Xerox fax set to?
How do the ATA's egress to the PSTN? Is there an IOS Gateway or 6608 blade
involved? They should be setup for G711 and to turn off VAD. If using an IOS
gateway, what fax protocol are the Dial Peers setup for?
For ATA's to work reliably, they need to be set for G711 and VAD disabled,
this is done through the CCM Device Pool and the Audio Mode setting on the
ATA. Also the maximum reliable fax speed for an ATA is 14.4 kpbs.

We are getting sporadic comm error faxing through and ATA. The recipient
receives the reptitively as the send machine
doesn't think that it is sucessfull. Any ideas on where to look would be
appreciated.
Mike
