[cisco-voip] SIP and H323

I have heard that the NexTone session border controllers do a very good job
of protocol conversion, perhaps it would be worth looking into. If I
remember correctly you have your gateways set up for SIP and have your H323
device communicate with the NexTone, it will do the conversion from H323 to
SIP and vice-versa.

Sure - just set up SIP or H323 dialpeers, and they both "just work".

Note, though, that bridging a SIP and a H323 dialpeer won't work perfectly -
for instance, dtmf relay gets hosed, as does a lot of other useful control
signalling.
