I was hoping to talk to Annie, but she wasn't answering.

#3 worked for me.

I am trying to fine a 1-800 phone number that will rattle back the phone
number you are calling from. Kinda like the equal of a www.whatsmyip.com
for phones. Does the list know of any such numbers. I found a couple but
  they don't seem to work.

  Here is what I found.

  (1) If you don't know who your long distance carrier is, call
  1-700-555-4141.
  (2) Want to know the number you're calling from? There are dozens (or
hundreds) of different codes. Verizon has used 990, 990-1111 and 958.
SBC-SNET uses 970#, We don't know if other parts of SBC use the same
  code.
  (3) 800 444-444 provides number announcements, but maybe only for MCI
  customers.
  (4) 800 964-0176 is a robot number identifier for Live Talk Club.
  (5) 800 555-1140 will give you some weird info, and finally your calling
  number. Listen for your "Annie."
  (6) If you need a test fax sent to you, call Brother at 1-800-521-2846.
