Talking about Abbreviated Dialing : where does the "display text" appear ?

I have seen it only on the configuration page; I would have expected it to
somehow appear on the display of the phone when you use AbbrDial.

Don't remember if it's available in 3.X, but for sure in 4.X you can use
Abbreviated dialing or Fast Dials. Fast Dials is and app that you have to
add via services. Abbreviated dialing works basically like one touch
dialing. Abbreviated dialing is set up via the users ccmuser page.

I am trying to find info on how to add more speed dial buttons to a 7940 2
button phone without using a 7914 expansion module. Key sequence, then the
number????

Thanks
Dave
