[cisco-voip] Broadcasting calls

What version of call manager are you running?

If you are running 4.x, then you can setup a line group with a broadcast distribution algorithm, then add that line group to a hunt list, then attach a hunt pilot to the hunt list.

If you are running 3.x, then you will need to setup shared lines on all of your phones that you want to ring. These should be at least 7940s but 7960s are preferred.

There is more to it than that, but that's the nuts-and-bolts to it.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Broadcasting calls

Hello everyone!

I have a Automated Attendant on 3400, and then i have different choises to be made from there.

1 for the boss

2 for other in the personal.

If they press 2 I need it to ring on several phones, is it possible to make one number to distribute it to several phones?

Like having a group number or something like that?

I have setup a call group and hunt list + hunt pilot, but this aint the right way I think?

Regards/Med vänlig hälsning
