[cisco-voip] Question on PRI Gateway

You will need to completely remove the pri-group command before adding
service mgcp.

Another thing you can enable is ccm-manager config. This will let CM
configure your PRI for you.

I added the above, but still get:
rwc-faxgw-149-59(config-if)#isdn bind-l3 ?
   q931 Select IOS Q.931

I also verified service mgcp:
rwc-faxgw-149-59(config)#controller T1 1/0
rwc-faxgw-(config-controller)#shut
rwc-faxgw-(config-controller)#pri-group timeslots 1-24 service mgcp
rwc-faxgw-(config-controller)#no shut
rwc-faxgw-(config-controller)#

o administratively down
Jun 20 10:32:50.743 PDT: %CONTROLLER-5-UPDOWN: Controller T1 1/0,

Jun 20 10:32:50.995 PDT: %CONTROLLER-5-UPDOWN: Controller T1 1/0,

Jun 20 10:32:56.035 PDT: %CONTROLLER-5-UPDOWN: Controller T1 1/0,
changed state t
o up
rwc-faxgw-(config-controller)#end
rwc-faxgw-149-59#

What else am I missing? I actually copied my base config from a 2651
gateway of ours so I don't know why it isn't working :(

Also not sure why the service mgcp doesn't stick to the pri-group config
on the controller.

I think the pots dialper is the missing one.

Your pri-group should end in 'service mgcp'

If you can't bind l3 to ccm-manager then I *think* you need a pots
dial-peer with 'port 1/0:23' and 'application MGCPAPP'.
