[cisco-voip] 7970 Phones re booting

Good Morning All

 

We seem to be getting a number of our 7970's resetting for no apparent
reason, upon checking the Call Manager event logs it would appear that
this morning they were constantly resetting for about three hours, this
started at about 2.00am and there was no work on our network being
carried out.

On occasions this has happened sometimes the phones do not restart and
we find them with a blank screen with red lights sequencing through the
buttons, they then need to be powered off to get them to restart and
they have lost all there settings once restarted.

The phone load we are using is TERM70.6-0-3-0S.LOADS

 

Has anyone come across this behaviour before or do you know what this
could cause the phones to enter this state.
