[cisco-voip] Upgrading from 4.0 to 4.1(2) - bad experience

Hello,

we painfully upgraded last night from 4.0 something to 4.1(2) (via 4.0(2a)
which seems to be the recommended upgrade path).

I didn't perform the upgrade myself, but the supplier who did it tells me
that he was not prompted by the installation software to reinstall on the
new version the languages installed with 4.0. It wouldn't have been that bad
if all phones with non-English "User Locale" had not disappeared from the
database for this reason.

Also, it seems that you have to upgrade the Cisco TSP (TAPI) for Outlook
dialling from 4.0 to 4.1 (was not expected either).

All this might be very obvious, but the experience was bad enough to be
shared with people potentially going towards the same problems.

Hope it helps,

Vincent
