Actually I think it's good to be hesitant about upgrading when things
are working well. The exception should be when there is a feature or
bug fix you need in the newer version. In this case if you want FAC
you need to upgrade :)

If stability is a question, I can say with certainty I've seen better
results with CM 4.1.3 than anything in the 4.0 line.

CallManager 3.3(4) or later in the 3.3 train or 4.1(2) or later in the
4.1 train.
So long as you purchased a SAS or SASU contract, the upgrade from 4.0 to
4.1 is free. Are there other impediments to your upgrade?
