very good, so when you shut the ports, what is disconnect reason code sent
back to CCM from the gateway?
either look in the ccm traces (with q931translator?) or get "debug h225
q931", "debug h225 asn1" on the gateway and decode the reason code.

We are using H323 gateways, the Route Plan Service Parameters are set to
Stop Routing on Out of Bandwidth Flag - False
Stop Routing on Unallocated Number Flag - True
Stop Routing on User Busy Flag - True

h323 or mgcp? the failure code sent from the gateway to CM determines if CM
tries the next available gateway/huntgroup. this is affected by CCM service
parameters "stop routing on user busy", "stop routing on unallocated number
flag", "stop routing on unallocated number flag"

I am having a little trouble getting the gateway to failover from a remote
site to our main site. I have added the Route Group of the main site to the
Route List of the remote site. If I disable the voice port on the router and
place a call it will fail and not get to the router and I get nothing on the
debug. If I change the order of the route groups in the route list so the
main site is at the top then place a call I am able to dial out of the main
site gateway ok.
Do I have to add anything in elsewhere on the Call manager or the gateways
themselves?
