I am testing a (Fax Router) VG2600 with H323 ,IOS 12.3.(3)g with a FXS
card for outbound and a VIC2-DID card for
Inbound. These cards are connected to a Brooktrout TR114 Fax board. We
have a block of DID's coming from
A PRI router into the Fax Router. It seems that I have all the correct
commands in my fax router because when I connect
An anolog phone behind the fax router and call a DID, it rings the
phone. Outbound work as well. The problem occurs when we hook the
TR114 fax board up behind the router. The fax board allows for two
signal types: Wink, Immediate with the option to collect digits from
0-15.
When I setup the router's voice ports for wink signaling, and match wink
on the fax board, I get fast busy.
When I setup the router's voice ports for immediate signaling, and match
immediaite on the fax board, I get fast busy.
When I setup the router's voice ports for loop-start signaling, and put
immediate with o digits to collect and route on the fax board, I get it
to
Work how ever; it does not release the port. I physically have to do a
shut-no shut on the port to make it work again.
