Java-ness? Active scripting allowed from the CCMADmin server?
XPSP2 probably is by default more 'secure' than otherwise... I've had a
lot more trouble with Java versions and various
switches/routers/firewalls/Ciscosoftware/CCM supporting the same (NOT)
versions of Java on SP2... it's been _really_ fun that none of Cisco's
'older' stuff supports the same version of Java that the new does...
Or that the new stuff is sufficiently backwards compatible to allow
older Java to work (since that's required for older switches < 12 months
old

Subject: [cisco-voip] CM Admin problems on new machine?
Setting up a new pc for myself and running clean install of XP with the
built in SP2. Its a base install right now, simply XP with all the
updates from MS.
I open IE and go to my CCMAdmin page, login and go search for phones. I
select extension, contains and 12 and it says it returns 87 items but
they are never displayed.
I see an error sign (yellow exclamation) in the bottom left of IE, when
you open the error and read it it says:
Line: 264
Char: 3
Error: Object doesnt support this property or method
Code: 0
Is there something you have to do on a new system to get CCMAdmin
working correctly? Seems odd, but then again I never tried CCMAdmin
from another PC so who knows.
