One way to do it is:
On CME, create a new ephone-dn with a number such as '*...', where the
number of dots matches your extension length. Set this ephone-dn to
Call Forward All to your voicemail pilot number.
i.e.
ephone-dn 189
number *...
description Direct Vmail
name Direct Vmail
call-forward all 700
On CUE, add a phonenumberE164 parameter for each user and specify it to
be their extension including the initial '*'.
i.e.
username tsmith phonenumber 100
username tsmith phonenumberE164 *100
A receptionist can then send incoming calls for extension 100 directly
to voicemail by transferring the call to *100.
