I posted last week about how others were backing up Unity. We have two boxes
(seems to be a common approach) one is the Unity server with SQL, the other
is an exchange box. The exchange box is backed up no problem. Unity server
way not being backed up.
Some recommend I utilize DiRT to back up the Unity box. I installed the
latest version and scheduled a back up. Backup happen on schedule as it
should but I only see one file coming from the backup:
UnityDBBackUp.sql
I believe this is simply the SQL backup. Am I missing something? Is there
more to DiRT? The settings are simple it seems. I just thought there should
be more to the backup, such as Unity files and such.
Thx!
